Notice Anything Different

First. My apologies to my better half who just so happens to be playing Dr. Mario in the living room at the moment. He doesn't know I'm up to something. LOL!

Second. I can not tell you how proud I am of him for making the changes he has lately to drop a WHOPPING 35 lbs! In only 4 months, I believe. Of course, he's always been a stud to me, but seriously. The before and after is quite something, is it not?! :)

Third. Way to go, hun. I knew you could do it. If you could only be a good daddy. Kidding. You're the best, I say! The best!

BEFORE:

AND AFTER:

(***note - yes he does play and interact with the other too steelboys. just not in photos. LOL!)

OK, there are obviously a lot of people who use Shady Willow Lane as their primary news source...you have mulitple comments on these posts that you added less than 3 hours ago!!

That being said, congrats to Rodney! I'd like to undergo a similar transformation. I am 9 pound behind on my goal to lose 10 pounds by Sept. 30. Maybe if I staple my mouth shut for the next 10 days...

He looks like a different person. Oh my goodness. I'm very proud of him. What did he do to lose it? Diet/exercise?

That really is amazing! One question though, why is it SO much easier for men to lose weight than women? Not fair!

Oh my goodness! Way to go Rodney! He looks great! Please tell me.... how did he do it? I need to know b/c he has inspired me.

Congrats to Rodney! I know how much hard work it takes!

For those of you who asked what he did - you'll never guess.

Drumroll please...

(and no I'm not trying to be insulting - I'm just trying to make a funny - so please take it that way, LOL!)

He....

Exercised and changed his eating habits! Basically running 4-5 days/week - now he's up to 8+ miles in each run - Then, there's working out at the gym - and less fried food - and no soda at all. We're a crystal lite family!!! :) (BTW - Banana Orange Strawberry is the best - then Raspberry Lemonade.)

Man.... I was hoping for some easy quick fix. I am very proud of Rodney if he did all of that hard work. Way to go! Maybe I will start w/ switching to Crystal Light.

Wow that's awesome! Rodney has inspired me as well...I just ate a salad and diet coke(must ease into this). Joel is a coke fanatic so it will be hard to stop drinking soda with it under my nose all the time but I'm going to try that and also working out. I think it's always hard to start but once you do it's not so bad. It is annoying though how it's easier for most men to lose weight than women. Joel could not eat for a day and lose 5 lbs I swear haha.

You know, I didn't realize the before/after difference b/c I don't really see him at church, but the other week when I was camping in the foyer with the kids I did notice that he was looking very trim. Great job Rodney!
